On Saturday, Feburary 21st... the wrestler known as PHOENIX realized his dream. In a world title match against the high priest Pagan, PHOENIX captured his first EWA World Heavyweight title... by upending the high priest in a thriller of a match. Back and forth the titanic athletes went... trying hard to prove that each other were worthy of wearing the gold. The PHOENIX... master of the technical wrestling going toe to toe with his one time former partner. In the end, PHOENIX managed to catch Pagan in the "HellSpawn"... and get the 1..2..3... and win the EWA Supreme Heavyweight Championship. A tearful emotional PHOENIX spoke after the confrence, thanking all who had helped him get as far as he had in the business... and vowing to the the fightingest champion that the EWA had ever seen. PHOENIX was shocked to learn that after his vacation to Atlanta with Princess Jennifer... that the EWA was abuzz with Stone Cold Steve Smith calling PHOENIX his 'mentor'... as SCSS himself captured the EWA Commonwealth Championship. All in all, a career full of dissapointments... and tremendous victories... two title reigns and a career ending victory... the PHOENIX now stands atop the wrestling world... with the sport's richest prize... the EWA World Heavyweight Championship.
